There are so many fun things that we get to do now that we "have kids." One thing I've always wanted to do was go to the pumpkin patch. But, I never went because well we never had kids and I knew people wouldn't think Jack would pass even though he is technically one of our "kids"... Anyways, I took a personal day on Friday since I haven't had a day off in 3 months and it was SO worth it and one of the best days I've had in awhile. I got to play with Alli all morning, then I packed her up after lunch and mom and I drove out to Mayflower to the Pumpkin Patch. We had SO much fun looking at all the animals and riding a hay ride to pick our pumpkin. She did really good until the end when it was "nap time" and then she was ready to be done. However, she fell asleep in the car and we drove home to make chicken rice soup for dinner and put up our new pumpkins outside the house. Nothing beats days home with her. We played all weekend and I wish so bad the weekend had gone slower. But, none-the-less, time continues to trudge forward. Only 3 weeks until Thanksgiving though... which gives me a "light at the end of the tunnel." I love my kids, but boy do we all need a break from each other. Anyways, we had a great time at the pumpkin patch and I know it's going to be so much more fun next year when she can run around and play on everything. Check back tomorrow (hopefully, if I'm on my game! :)) for pictures of our cutie in her Halloween get-up. I know I'm biased, but I do think she is the cutest. Even though her poor eczema is back and her skin around her mouth looks AWFUL... I promise I'm doing everything I can. However, a messy eater and a teether is NOT helping the situation at all. Her poor skin looks awful. But I'm so thankful that her body has finally healed from everything.... now if we can just get this top tooth in and become a better eater maybe our face will heal up!? Wishful thinking I guess :) Happy Sunday!
