The Hunt

After an INSANELY busy weekend I'm now sitting down to upload some pictures. This post will be mostly pictures because let's face it, I don't have time to type! I'm exhausted and somehow I have to motivate myself to teach tomorrow.... yikes. Anyways, Alli and I spent the day Saturday running around EVERYWHERE trying to get last minute Christmas gifts. Chris has had gym meets the last 3 weekends so it was little bug and I on our own. I can say with full confidence I will not be waiting next year. Yikes. Lines were crazy, people were everywhere, and when we walked into Target there was not one cart in the entire cart area! That's right... if you wanted a cart you had to go outside to the buggies. Wow. Anyways, we shopped till we both dropped and then today I helped host a baby shower and we went and cut down our Christmas tree. Even though I was exhausted, it's always fun to go hunt around and find the perfect tree and saw it down. Unless Alli is allergic, I don't plan on going fake... there is just something about getting a real one that is just so much fun and meaningful. Anyhoo, here's some pics from our excursion. Can you believe how grown up she is!?! 8 months on Saturday!! Maybe I'll get an 8 month post sometime this week... no promises though... we didn't even get the picture this weekend. Ha! Happy last week of school for me! Whoo hoo! And happy early Christmas to me... Chris gave me my present early... an I phone 4s! I finally moved into the grown up phone world... ha!
